Description

Robert Half is seeking a talented Network Engineer with knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls. We have a large banking client with a project through end of 2023 that needs a remote network engineer who has practical hands on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and it's management.

What you get to do every single day

- Provide high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology, including hardware, hubs, bridges and routers

- Work collaboratively with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management

- Manage a secure transfer of data to multiple locations by way of internal and external networks

- Utilize traditional and creative methods to develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks

- Set up and manage network test facilities

Requirements

- Networking experience

- Familiar with network design and implementation strategies

- Prior experience with Oversight

- Demonstrated knowledge of Workstation Support

- Foundational knowledge in Network Security

- Foundational knowledge in design

- Deep understanding of Templates

- Experience with Financial Services

- Policy experience required

- Comprehension of Web App

- Deployments experience desired

- Previous experience working with Execute

- Business Unit experience required

- Configuration management experience highly valued

- General familiarity with security

- Methodology experience preferred

- Automation experience highly preferred

- Solid understanding of documentation

- Project management experience

- Background working with Engineering

- APISCS Certification experience highly desired

- Good understanding of Microsoft Access

- Practical knowledge of implementation

- Deep understanding of research

- Earlier work involving Communication Skills

- Adeptness in About Time

- Hands-on experience with change management
