Job Description Senior Software EngineerLocation: Boston, MA | Hybrid Get To Know The Team: The Eze EMS is a world-class trading system used by top brokers, hedge funds, and asset managers throughout the world. The Aurora team primarily works on the front-end trading application, which is how most of our customers place trades and monitor them. The application is also used for streaming market data and portfolio analysis, and needs to process thousands of streaming updates/second. The EMS supports trading multiple asset classes (stocks, options, futures, crypto, and more), as well as Pairs, Spreads and Baskets. - Develop and maintain features in our Flagship Desktop Trading Application
- Find and improve performance bottlenecks to allow greater throughput
- Refactor and optimize code to make it more efficient
- Debug issues that are reported by our customers
- Look for opportunities to incorporate new technologies into the application
- Work in an agile and collaborative environment
- 3-5 years C Programming Experience minimum
- Strong debugging skills
- Experience with multi-threaded and high-performance code strongly recommended
- Knowledge of Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) libraries a plus but not required
- Experience with full-stack web development a plus
- Experience in FinTech a plus, basic knowledge of financial markets recommended
