Desktop Support Engineer needed for a 1+ Year Contract in Boston, MA!Essential Function: Do you want to make a difference? Help transform the way people work and live by providing help desk support to our team members. Helpful, friendly customer service is key to success in this hands-on role. Configure, install and upgrade computers and internal systems. Maintain Help Desk ticketing system, assign tickets, and prioritize user requests. Maintain an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software and supplies. Troubleshoot, maintain, and monitor computing devices, printers, phones, and scanners. Provide end user support in office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Supporting 50 users primarily for on-site desktop related activities, however, may include some other activities (i.e. including cabling, application support, etc.)• Must have strong Soft / Technical Skills• Diagnose/ Triage/ Resolve software and hardware problems. • Train staff in IT processes and in using company devices. • Assist staff with IT related problems when called upon. • Track, prioritize and document requests
