Painter needed for busy body shop

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Painter to join our team at our very busy and growing shop: Gayans Auto Body and Towing. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive painting, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces

Mix and match paint colors to ensure a perfect match to the vehicle’s original color

Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other painting equipment

Ensure paint finishes are free of imperfections and meet quality standards

Repair paint defects as necessary

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an auto body painter or similar role

Knowledge of automotive paint mixing and application techniques

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills

Certification in auto body painting is a plus
