ABOUT THE COMPANY:
We specializes in design, integration, and installation of audiovisual, video, audio, network & "VTC" video conferencing systems used for Corporate, Government & Educational Institutions.
During the past 20 years, we have integrated, installed thousands of systems, doing installations in 40+ states, but heavily concentrating in DC, Norther VA, & Baltimore Area.
POSITION: Entry & Mid Level AV / Audio Video, Security, Networking, CCTV, Cable, Field Technician to perform Installations & Service of systems with our Corporate & Government clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Installation of all types of Audio Video Equipment: LCD projectors, LCD TV's, sound systems, projection screens, Video Conferencing VTC, and CCTV systems, and more. The work is performed offsite at various location in the DMV area.
- Travel in the local DMV area as well as 10% regional area is a MUST!
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
MUST be able to pass background screening
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, auto insurance, and MUST have a vehicle
Good knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Hands on mechanical aptitude and soldering skills
Understanding of low voltage systems for audio, video, control, and CCTV.
Structured cabling includes, Cat 5, cat 6, coaxial, fiber and the ability to terminate.
Good communication skills and customer service attitude
Ability to lift heavy equipment (30+lbs), as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Good attitude and ability to be a team player
Enjoy working in a variety of locations on projects with newest technology
Neat and professional appearance
High school diploma
AA or BA College Degree is preferred
Preferred for tech to have hand/power and standard AV / cabling tools (negotiable)
MUST have a computer
Preferred experience with: Polycom, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, ClearOne, Projectors, Microphones, Speakers, Audio Mixers
This position (Part Time/Full Time/Contract) includes a competitive hourly rate depending on skill set and experience. Paid time off, Health Insurance, & Travel Reimbursements
