Position Summary: This role owns the early talent co-op program across Retail Business Services, including leading the entire recruiting process, utilize deep networking and sourcing skills to identify passive candidates, establish strong partnerships with hiring leaders and college representatives, and deliver a positive candidate experience. . Responsible for program oversight of program participants' projects and offers, data and metrics. The Co-Op Talent Specialist ensures co-op program participants have a positive & robust experience with RBS. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:- Execute full life cycle recruiting from candidate attraction through onboarding. Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to develop recruitment strategies, demand plan, understand position requirements, set expectations, and maintain communications throughout the hiring process.
- Creatively source and attract diverse candidates through referrals, social media, networking, niche resources, etc.
- Effectively build talent communities and candidate pipelines for co-ops and in support of RBS' early talent programs.
- In partnership with the HR teams, diagnose co-op program performance issues and problem solve to provide actionable solutions to the organization. .
- Compare proposed program design solutions with current solutions to identify any gaps or overlaps.
- Research industry best practices and ensure our programs are best in class offerings that remain competitive, attractive and viable for current college students
- Coach program participants, managers, and liaisons: Provide onboarding, training, and communication to ensure engagement and assimilation while supporting the continual development and career progression of program participants.
- Manage all candidate communications and information to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the Talent Acquisition process including keep warm strategy.
- Develop and analyze key team metrics and program metrics with an emphasis on assessing talent pipeline effectiveness to meet business needs and develop counter measures as needed. Utilize these metrics to implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with Learning and OD partners on learning goals and initiatives for each program.
- Gather feedback on program participants, strengths and gaps from sponsors, trainers, and mentors.
- Create and communicate expectations for leaders, trainers, mentors and sponsors during program.
- Partner with HRBP and Talent Acquisition teams on opportunities for program participant post program including succession and talent management activities.
- Manage assigned projects as required. Develop project schedules, track milestones and delivery dates, and perform all necessary tasks required to successfully complete each assigned project/program by the assigned goal date.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with some knowledge of / exposure to one or more core areas such as university relations, recruiting, talent management, performance management, organization development, project management, leadership development, or career development.
- Previous experience with program management
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a directly related field
- 3-5 years training program management
- Significant Program creation and execution experience
- Creative approach to sourcing and maintaining a strong early talent pipeline.
- Strong candidate assessment and in-person/virtual interviewing skills required, including ability to effectively evaluate candidate's visibility for organization fit and fulfillment of position requirements.
- Strong ability to collaborate, influence and lead change with leaders and other key partners.
- Demonstrated desire for continuous improvement.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organization skills, a detail-orientation and the ability to multi-task required
