Mold Maker

NOW HIRING MOLD MAKERS IN PLYMOUTH!Description:

Plymouth based company is looking for a 1st shift Mold Maker to work on bench jobs with a small amount of reactive maintenance on injection molding machines- currently have 25 injection molding machines.

Job Duties:

Utilize Brigdeports, Lathes, and Surface grinders to repair used molds

Perform Bench jobs on molds that have recently run to get them repaired to run again

Troubleshoot minor process problems

Repair oil leaks in fittings, cylinders and hydraulic lines

Repair damaged tooling

Record and report findings to Supervisor (good written & oral communication skills)

Clean molds and put away in proper location

Occasional to frequent bending/pushing/pulling and lifting/carrying (generally 10 lbs. to 40 lbs.) of auxiliary equipment or molds

Work within the Production Support Group (PSG) assisting with maintenance and repair as needed upon completion of daily mold set assignments

Good work & attendance record - work overtime as required

Location:

Plymouth, IN

Shift and Hours:

7am-3pm (there is flexibility on start time and stop time by 1 hour)

Pay:

$28-$32/hr

Pay based on previous skill/experience and interview

Skills:

Experience in injection molding

Hands on experience in factory

Experience with Bridgeports, Lathes, and Surface Grinders

Experience performing bench jobs on molds
