Dental Assistant for a New Modern Clinic

Mundelein Family Dental is a new Modern Dental Practice that provides a Spa-like environment. We are on a mission to make going to the dentist's office easy and to give back to the community.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be crucial in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and have excellent clinical skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Take x-rays

- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as fabricating temporary crowns

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation

- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role preferred

- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft

- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
