Sr. Backend Java Developer

Job description

• 8 or more years of hands-on experience in a software development/ software engineering profession leveraging Java/J2EE and UI technologies
• At least 3 years of experience directly leading application support initiative
• Proficiency working in a Linux-based environment, including shell scripting and basic system administration
• 4+ years of experience in front end development software development with a solid grasp of core java and web development processes and procedures in the building of web
• Experience transforming enterprise applications to AWS

• Experience writing and troubleshooting JavaScript and Relational Databases and SQL Programming
• Expertise in developing using HMTL5 and CSS3
• Knowledge of JQuery, Agile methodology, and experience with code repository such as SVN and Git, in a team environment
• Experience with one or more of the following: MVC Framework, Hibernate, Spring (Spring Boot, Dependency Injection), Maven
• Experience with unit/integration testing (Java Junit/TestNG, BDD)
