Mechanic

Job description:

GENERAL DUTIES (not all inclusive):

Performs maintenance, diagnosis and repair of generators and small equipment, Vans and

ATV/SXS’s. Performs daily upkeep, and scheduled service maintenance. Provides training for personnel on the safe use of the above equipment.

Performs on-site maintenance and repair to equipment in field, as required.

Maintains detailed records on all work performed and completes work orders.

Operates and maintains equipment including compressors, presses, air tools, electric power tools, forklifts, grooming equipment, etc.

Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work area.

Maintains workplace program and ensures safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

Performs other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Be able to pass a Drug Test.

High School diploma or equivalent.

A valid Driver's license is required.

A minimum of two years’ experience in maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline small engines and generators is required.

Experience in ATV/SXS maintenance and maintenance of tracked vehicles such as Skid steer or backhoe.

Must be willing and able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.

Must be willing and able to perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors.

Must be able to pass a drug and background screening.
