Immediate openings for refrigeration technicians.

Job Description:

Inspects systems and therefore the purpose of ensuring safety and identifying necessary repairs and providing an ongoing program of preventive maintenance.

Diagnoses problems and/or failures in refrigeration systems to identify equipment and/or systems repair and replacement needs.

Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and safety regulations.

Pay based on experience.

Job Requirements:

HVAC entry level experience preferred but not required.

Experience in repairing and maintaining supermarket rack systems, walk-in/reach-in freezers and coolers, refrigerated serving lines, ice machines.

Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and prepare work orders.

Must have EPA certification.

Valid driver's license and good driving abstract.

Periodic travel with extended overnight stays may be required while working on outer-island (Kona, Kauai, Maui) project/jobs.

Good people skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.

Problem solving is required to identify issues and create action plans.

Able to work effectively and efficiently under minimal supervision.

Able to participate in an on-call rotation

Able to lift 50+ lbs.
