Position Title - Google Cloud Platform Infra

Location - Atlanta, GA

Job Description

• Expertise in designing and building applications using Kubernetes, Container, and serverless technologies.
• Expertise in virtualization technologies and IaaS.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Networking.
• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability.
• Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like terraform.
• Expertise utilizing Continuous Integration (CI) & Deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker).
• Applied knowledge and use of Configuration Management platforms (e.g. Ansible).
• Strong practical application development experience.
• Architecting, designing and developing applications on Public Cloud platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Experience on infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
• Knowledge on ETL/Big data tools like Composer, Big Query, dataflow, pub sub etc.
• Provide enterprise-wide application, database, network support in a mature enterprise environment, and cloud infrastructure design experience preferred.
• Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software, and upgrades.
• Create and manage system documentation, configuration, and backup procedure and DR Strategies.
• Diagnose and develop fixes to implement quickly and efficiently for production incidents
• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
• Demonstrated understanding of firewall and IT security principles.
• Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.
• Build and maintain highly available systems

Required Skills

• CI/CD (Gitlab preferred)
• Database (HANA, PostGres)
• Docker / Kubernetes
• Major cloud provider tooling (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Agile / Lean environment scripting like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
