Prescription processing/filling

Answering telephones; providing customer service

Managing inventory of pharmaceutical products

Compounding and preparing medication and IV admixtures; triaging orders

Managing the technical duties in the pharmacy to allow the pharmacist to pursue the clinical areas of pharmacy practice and ensure that optimal pharmaceutical care is provided to the patients

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THEPHARM TECH PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Pharmacy Technician Certification in state of practice

6+ months of pharmacy technician experience

Must work well in team settings

Must be very responsible and timely

Ability to pick up on computer systems quickly
