Computer Enterprises Inc. is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator for our client in Wilmington, DE.

Systems Administrator (Third Shift)

Wilmington, DE (onsite Thursday – Sunday – 10 hours days – 8 pm – 7 am)

ContractThe Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation and support of Windows Server based operating systems and various applications, hardware and software platforms. Regular job responsibilities will involve supporting a variety of technologies, customer and team driven projects, handling trouble tickets on a priority basis, lifting/moving heavy server and other related equipment, participation in tasks related to help-desk and desktop support service orders required to meet customer needs, and supporting international business units. Some travel may be required. A comprehensive performance management plan will involve the identification, discussion and implementation of personal and business related objectives and goals aimed at career and team development.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • To communicate with technical and non-technical individuals and teams
  • Work in a fast paced and dynamic production environment
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Handle multiple tasks and projects with various and changing levels of priority
  • Work irregular hours and on call rotation to meet business requirements
  • Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, organized, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel internationally a real plus.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Windows Server technology for a minimum of 3 years
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (protocols, software & HW components)
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline is required

Preferred Experience:
  • SCCM Software Delivery / Unattended installation
  • Patch Management / Windows Software Update Services
  • Windows Deployment Services / Remote Image
