Maintenance Mechanic at Wastewater Incinerator Facility

Position Purpose: Performs a variety of assignments requiring knowledge in the mechanical field.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Performs basic structural welding and burning operations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints (SR drawings)Thorough understanding of properties of steam.Ability to locate all system manholes & MLVS.Thorough understanding of the repair and principles of operation for: pumping devices, valves, PRVS, traps, piping systems, expansion joints, anchors.Must be proficient at pipefitting.Assist in training other Mechanic IIs.Assist others as required.All other related duties.Work Environment:Required to work in all adverse conditions, both indoors and outdoors during all seasons.Required to work in hot areas.
