Job Details

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help us build an insurance infrastructure for the modern economy.

Job Duties:

Help build a team and cultivate innovation by driving cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams.
Lead designs of major software components (APIs), systems, and features.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
Engage in critical decisions regarding software best practices, LULA systems, and stakeholders' concerns
Mentor and train other team members on design techniques, and coding standards.

Ideal Background:

8 years of relevant work experience in software development and functional programming
Experience building solutions in any object oriented and/or functional programming language (e.g., C, C#, F#, Java, Scala, Python, JavaScript, Go)
Experience architecting and developing distributed systems design
Production experience designing and shipping highly reliable backend systems and API
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
