The candidate will be having a master’s degree in computation biology and will be knowledgeable of statistics, next generation sequencing experiments, flowcytometry methods and other types of molecular and cellular data and applications commonly used in Translational Research studies. The computational biologist will be working closely with the bioinformatics team, clinical team, and Software development team to analyze biomarker data derived from translational studies conducted in collaboration with partners. You will be conducting correlative science research to study how the genetic profiles of patients’ tumors define disease presentation, response to therapy and disease progression. These analyses are guiding treatment decisions and the enrollment of patients into clinical trials of novel targeted therapies. Therefore, the candidate contributes to many of the projects we undertake, and those efforts will have direct impacts.The OpportunityAs a Computational Scientist, you will be:

Actively and collaboratively promoting scientific and technical innovation with other members of the department, including subject matter experts in disease biology, companion diagnostics, and data science.

Directing and supporting publications in high quality scientific, technical, or medical journals.

Representing the department through interactions with computational, biological, and translational research collaborators.

Interacting with key partners and investigators and effectively managing internal and external scientific collaborations.

Participating and thriving in an interactive, collaborative, and team-oriented culture.

Who You Are:

PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, cancer biology).

Expertise in single cell biology (multimodal data analysis) and proficiency in R and python. Single cell data sets.

Not traditional RNC, more modeling analysis

Expert single cell biology, multimodalities, gene expression, crisper,

Python and R both

Data wrangling

Biology agnostic, cancer immunology

Masters OR post-PhD experience, with demonstrated scientific contribution in bioinformatics.

Fluency with Python and statistical data analysis using modern frameworks (e.g. R, NumPy).

Experience with image analysis, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, TensorFlow-Keras).

I have an enthusiasm for understanding and discerning the biological context of disease with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
