Principal Software EngineerIMMEDIATE NEED for a Principal Software Engineer to join a financial services company in Santa Ana, CA for a 6-month contract to hire position. Candidates must have experience developing cloud software services and experience with a variety of modern programming languages.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with other senior leaders on the team to build the technical strategy & architecture for a broad area
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into system specific functional requirements
  • Design, develop, and implement world-class, secure software and services
  • Champion change and act as project leader, evaluate design alternatives and perform cost benefit analysis
  • Develop tools & processes to enable best-in-class operations for our service
  • Mentor other developers and contribute to the growth and development of our team

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience designing and building customer facing software products from concept to launch
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities driving operational excellence and best practices
  • Experience developing cloud software services
  • Experience with a variety of modern programming languages (C#/C, .Net, Java, JavaScript, Python) and open-source technologies (Linux, SQL & NoSQL, OpenGL, Spring, Hibernate)
  • Familiarity with Enterprise technology tools: Service Bus, Caching, SQL ecosystem, NoSQL, Multithread, Performance Optimization
