Join our team.About the RoleAs a Project Manager for the Policy Governance team you will be responsible for overseeing the employee policy & process lifecycle at Gap Inc. You will be planning and implementing programs and initiatives that will help achieve the transformational goals of the HR and business teams. In this role, you will manage project intake, budgets, and timelines; you will report on project status and coordinate cross-functional teams. Analysis of success metrics and KPIs will also be key to ensure the achievement of the desires outcomes as well as identifying opportunities for improvement.What You'll Do
Manage the policy & process governance program and intake process
Supports HR and Business Leadership in documenting and tracking progress of strategic programs and roadmap items that support LRPs
Leads and performs project management activities for specific policy initiatives
Plans, executes, and oversees HR projects from initial ideation, requirements, and development through to completion and quality assurance testing
Uses data to identify opportunities and drive decisions
Support in policy analysis and changes to drive greater compliance and an improvement in culture
Assists with developing business cases and metrics for measuring value and success of future process improvement and technology implementations
Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Communications, Legal, Procurement, Finance and more to bridge silos and encourage alignment and decision-making
Who You Are
Proven project management experience in a complex and cross-functional environment
Experience with project management methodologies and tools, Smartsheet is a plus
Customer oriented, curious, and fast learner
Demonstrated problem solving skills, applied to human-centric and technology solutions
Experience using data to drive the business and solve problems
Quality and detail oriented
Able to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed organization and to connect activities across teams
Proven experience working with policy in the US and internationally in the retail / consumer industry, or other highly regulated environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to effectively present complex ideas to stakeholders with different perspectives
Able to work independently, anticipate needs, exercise judgement, and productively execute amid ambiguity and changing circumstances
