Medical/Retail Compression Garment Fitter

The Compression Garment Fitter staff member is responsible for providing Ready to Wear as well as Custom compression garments and Mastectomy product fittings with education for our clients. Position will assist with product ordering, inventory management, and retail sales. This position requires a compassionate professional who understands the sensitive nature of working with people on their quest to attain a “normal life.” Provide excellent customer service and relationship building with every customer. Communicate effectively with a diverse population of staff, patients, providers, and customers. Previous experience not necessary, we will train in store as well as provide ongoing educational class opportunities to learn the Durable Medical Equipment business.

Responsibilities:

Compression garments off the shelf and custom lymphedema garments – measure, fit, order garments.

Order Durable Medical Equipment products and quality control

Mastectomy fittings – measure and fit patients for prosthesis/ bra and product education

Clinical documentation on fittings

Job duties also include inputting documentation into patient files, knowledge of basic office skills: faxing, copying,

computer skills, and the internet is needed.

Qualifications Preferred:

Experience in the medical field; knowledge of medical terminology

Experience in customer service

Displays strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

Bilingual/Spanish speaking

Excellent computer skills
