We are looking to add an HVAC Technician to our team. We perform both residential and commercial HVAC repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance and installations.

Experience should include:

1. Operates power tools and equipment such as electric and pneumatic drills, hammer drills, screwdriver, saws, cutters, sprayers, circulators, vacuum pumps and cleaners, powder activated tools

2. Uses hand tools and special equipment and devices such as wire cutters, insulation strippers, crimpers, hammers, chisels, saws, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, shears, pop riveter, files, reamers, taps, dies, soldering iron, torches, tube and pipe cutters, picks, shovels, ladders, scaffolding, block, tackle, hoist, sling, come along, lifts

3. Maintains work areas, tools, and equipment operational, clean, and orderly

4. Maintain, install, repair, and properly charge heat pumps and up to twenty (20)-ton air conditioners according to manufacturer specifications

5. Provide HVAC technical support during the commissioning and start-up phases

6. Oversee & monitor the site HVAC systems and make adjustments and/or repairs as necessary

7. Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, modifications and repairs to HVAC commercial equipment

8. Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, including boilers, gas and electrically operated air-conditioning equipment, and made necessary adjustments or repairs

9. Determines the means and methods to be used in accomplishing assigned tasks and secures appropriate materials, supplies, and equipment from stock and with authorized approval from suppliers

10. Plans and lays out work, making standard shop computations using basic arithmetic, shop manuals, catalogs, tables and charts, and other standard data sources

11. Diagnoses, tests, installs, maintains, and repairs pulleys, sheaves, gears, belts, motors, heating units, blowers, fans, gauges, thermometers, thermostats, pumps, ejectors, circulators, coils, condensers, compressors, duct work, diffusers, deflectors, louvers, grills

12. Selects, measures, cuts, bends, fits, assembles, splices, joins, solders, couples, fastens, hangs, and installs pipe, tubing, hose, duct work, insulation material, wire

13. Uses hardware supplies and equipment such as hangers, fittings, flanges, connectors, gaskets, couplings, insulation materials, tiles, fasteners, switches, sockets, plugs, fuses, insulators, gears, bushings, bearings, coils.

EPA certification required and clean driving record.
