Deburr Technician

JWP is looking for quality minded people to support our Rancho Cordova facility for the day shift. We manufacture technical components for medical, optical, defense, aviation, and biotech industries. JWP is driven by successfully meeting our customer's quality needs.

Deburr Technician (7:00am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday)

Primary responsibility will be working in our finishing department deburring and finishing parts for outside processes and customer shipments, deburring, cleaning and packaging parts.

Day shift hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday

Position Requirements:

Good eye sight for examining small parts for burrs and sharp edges.

Experience with small hand tools is required for burr removal, hobby knife, small files and other deburring tools. Hand sanding, orbital sanding, Scotch-brite, tumbler use, parts washing, compressed air and other techniques.

Strong attention to detail with ability to follow detailed instructions includes verbal/written communication in English.

Ability to maintain a neat and organized work area while maintaining safety, quality and being conscious of time to meet deadlines.

Basic computer skills to log data.

Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

Other requirements

General shop clean-up

Must be able to work overtime and limited Saturday shifts as needed.
