Job Title: Baker

Employment Type: Full Time

Pay: $15-16 / hour depending on experience + tips

Job Summary: Prepares baked goods from scratch

General Accountabilities:

Bakes pies, galettes, and other pastries in high volumes

Checks production schedule to determine quantity of goods to bake

Measures and mixes ingredients to form dough by hand or using an electric mixer

Cuts dough into uniform portions with knife or divider

Molds/crimps dough into beautiful pie crusts

Blind bakes shaped dough in preparation for fillings

Decorates tops of pies with fresh whipped cream, fruits, nuts, crumbles , cinnamon, and other

ingredients

Measures out recipes using a scale to make custard, fruit, and other pie fillings

Washes dishes throughout shift

Possesses the ability to help FOH team when needed

Job Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1 year of related experience, some leadership experience preferred

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication

Detail oriented

Time management

Active learning

Punctual

Reliable & dependable
