NOW HIRING! Community Service Officer I/II - Placer County

The Placer County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for Community Service Officer - I and Community Service Officer - II. Each level in this job series has different minimum qualifications. To participate in the recruitment at the I level, the II level, or both levels, you must complete and submit separate applications for each recruitment.

In addition to the base hourly rate listed above, positions will receive a yearly uniform allowance of $1,065. Employees who are designated to use a second language in the normal course and scope of work will receive five percent (5%) bilingual pay.

Qualifications:

Community Service Officer - I

Salary: $23.82 - $29.74/hour

Experience: One year of experience interviewing clients, applying regulations and dealing with hostile or irate individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds is desirable.

Community Service Officer - II

Salary: $26.26 - $32.78/hour

Experience: Two years of experience comparable to the duties of a Community Services Officer I.

Training: Both levels require equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
