Description:

Managing the movement, storage, and accuracy of materials and inventory

Coordinating material handling activities, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring that materials are available for production and other operational needs.

Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and finished goods in accordance with established procedures.

Perform inventory transactions, including receiving, issuing, transferring, and adjusting inventory items using inventory management software and tools.

Conduct regular physical counts of inventory to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy between physical stock and recorded quantities.

Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and components to support production schedules.

Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs and overstock situations, making recommendations for stock adjustments and reorder points.

Work closely with production and planning teams to provide timely and accurate inventory information for production planning and scheduling.

Identify and address issues related to damaged, expired, or defective materials and work with appropriate departments to resolve these issues.

Ensure that materials are stored in appropriate locations, following safety and compliance guidelines.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and quality checks.

Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights into stock levels, usage trends, and potential areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material handling processes, streamline workflows, and reduce operational costs.

Provide training and guidance to warehouse and production staff on proper material handling and inventory control procedures.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage locations and inventory records.
