Wanted : General Laborer

Wanted: Full time candidates looking for a long term career with our growing team.

Basic Requirements: Must like working outdoors. Must be able to lift heavy logs. Must show up for work each day. Valid drivers license preferred.


Must be able to work without supervision. They need to be flexible and customer service oriented. We are also looking for an employee who enjoys the work they perform, is motivated to increase skills, knowledge, and performance to grow as a successful team member of Nicholas Firewood.

Primary Responsibilities: Learns, understands, and adheres to all safety practices. Performs all required duties in support of specific job assignments as directed by crew leader/foreman. Utilizes and maintains all appropriate personal protective equipment. A basic understanding of tree removal practices including but not limited to: raking, pruning, chipping and using a blower to clean an area after tree work is complete is preferred. Must be willing to split and load wood, learn, be efficient, and ask questions. In addition, performs other duties as required or assigned.
