CLUBHOUSE MANAGER – (Part-Time, 20-24 Hours) Verde Santa Fe Community Clubhouse (Cornville, AZ)

The Clubhouse Manager oversees the maintenance and operations of the VSF Clubhouse, ensuring the building, grounds and atmosphere remain a desirable asset for its owners. Qualifications:

College 2+ years.

Previous human resource management or supervisory experience required.

Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act in a non-confrontational manner.

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong organizational skills.

Physically capable of lifting 20 pounds.

Physically able to access roof and attic spaces using a ladder.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain excellent relationships and communication with the Clubhouse Committee, the property management company, owners, members, and their guests.

Communicate events, issues, and schedules to committee members, owners, and members in a timely manner.

Work with the Clubhouse Committee to resolve member issues in a timely fashion.

Attend the Clubhouse Committee meetings in person and take minutes.

Oversee the management and maintenance of the clubhouse facility, property, and amenities.

Maintain an inventory of all equipment with model numbers, serial numbers, purchase dates, warranties, etc.

Establish a maintenance schedule, keep up to date maintenance logs, ensure preventative maintenance occurs on schedule and solicit multiple bids, as needed, for work to be performed.

Review work of various contractors to assure work completed meets contracted expectations.

Maintain yearly planning calendar and monthly scheduling of clubhouse events and private events.

Perform financial tasks as directed by the Clubhouse Committee.

Perform petty cash management, invoice approval, payroll approval, and participation in budget and reserve study processes.

Assure the timely procurement of clubhouse supplies.

Manage office operations and supervise staff.

Oversee staff scheduling, training, and development.

When necessary, due to illness or vacation schedule, fill in for staff.

Oversee the enforcement of the Clubhouse Rules and Regulations. Provide input to the committee regarding changes or enhancements to the Rules and Regulations.

Oversee the registration and orientation of new owners and members.

Manage and update procedural manuals as requested by the committee.

Manage the safety and access systems, including the maintenance of logs, video library, and all other components.
