Receptionist/Administrative Assistant - Seasonal

Alaska Glacier Seafoods, Inc. has an opening for a seasonal receptionist/admin assistant. This is a fun and interactive job in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys working with people, detail oriented and can be flexible.

Job duties include:

Customer service & general functions of the main office

Manage incoming customers and direct incoming phone calls

Provide local sales support

Facilitate bait and Ice sales and restocking of inventory

Provide purchase orders per company policy

Manage incoming mail/freight

Book travel as needed

Filing and scanning

Data entry into QuickBooks

Assist with supply inventory and purchases, stock and organize upon delivery

Manage conference room (Set-up/organize/tidy up for conferences, tours)

Assist with Tenders (purchasing supplies, coordinating deliveries/pickup)

Assist with and help manage vending

Provide additional backup & support to Management and other team members

Assist the owners with personal tasks

Assist with projects/tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:

Excellent phone and in-person communication skills

Familiar with computers, Google, Google Chat, Word, Excel

Available to work M-F 8-5 and rotating Saturdays through 9/30

Ability to take direction

Is resourceful and can problem solve

Can prioritize and follow through on multiple projects
