HVAC Technician

Full-time

Responsibilities include working on assigned work installing mechanical apparatuses, equipment and systems ensuring the work is performed in accordance with all relevant codes and safety standards.

Assist with installation of Mechanical Systems, including heating, cooling, and refrigeration.

Sheet metal ductwork - ability to field measure, cut duct to size, and install correctly in place.

Installation of miscellaneous HVAC components, including but not limited to: condensate drain piping, refrigeration piping, diffusers, exhaust fans, RTUs, minisplits, etc.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and mechanical equipment and systems, test & monitor mechanical systems, equipment, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

Load, unload, and identify HVAC building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.

All other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED equivalency

State of Texas HVAC Certified Technician or Registered Technician (or ability to attain Registered Technician status)

Minimum 1 year on the job HVAC and Mechanical experience

Fluency in spoken and written English language

Ability to reach schematic drawings

Knowledge of methods, practices, and safety procedures followed in the installation of HVAC, and mechanical equipment

Knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and systems used with building operation and the HVAC trade
